Toastmaster Training.

Christine Akehurst FNAT CMBII. has been a Toastmaster for many years and is a Past president of the National Association of Toastmasters.Our Toastmasters Training course is made up of ten units and is delivered using a mix of Face to Face tutorials, home learning and supervised practical sessions.You will be observed in the work place and given the opportunity to observe other profesional Toastmasters at work.The course is delivered at your pace over two years if required.Advice regarding uniform and dress code is part of the first unit.
For many years Christine has been a Professional Toastmaster officiating at functions and venues all over the country. She has worked with every Prime Minister since 1980. The Queen and most of the Royal family have been guests at events and functions she has had the honour and pleasure to attend in her capacity of Toastmaster. From Royal palaces to village halls Christine has helped smooth the way to the successful completion of events. The skills she learned whilst in Rep Theatre as an actor and stage manager, combined with her speech and drama training qualifications, make her the obvious choice when it comes to passing on the knowledge needed to be a competent, efficient, capable and caring Toastmaster. As a qualified teacher Christine is able to communicate at all levels and produce lesson plans to fit the individual learner. Christine along with her husband, own and run ALE Associates Ltd, a training company dedicated to the Hospitality and Catering industry and is an accredited centre for The BIIAB and the CIEH. With satellite training centres spread throughout the home counties.
